MG New Energy Technology(Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was registered and established in Suzhou in July 2022. Based on the strong research strength of the Nanjing University Thermal Regulation Center team, and supported by strong capital such as Tencent Holdings and Zhongke Chuangxing, we focus on providing new thermal management solutions for advanced devices and high-end manufacturing with key core technologies in the industry and multiple patent layouts throughout the entire industry chain.

 

MG New Energy has a series of product lines including film materials, coatings, fabrics, and more. At present, the company's mass-produced products have been applied in the fields of consumer electronics and new energy vehicles, and actively layout for cooling or insulation needs in scenarios such as mobile terminals, buildings, fabrics, aerospace, and military industries.

2013
  • The Photothermal Regulation Research Center of Nanjing University was established in 2013 at Nanjing University.
2016
  • In April, the team's related research results were published in the international journal Nature Photonics.
2019
  • According to the report "Research Frontier" jointly released by Clarivate Analytics and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, interface photothermal conversion, as a branch of photothermal regulation, has become one of the ten hot frontiers in the field of chemistry and materials, and the team of Nanjing University ranks first in this field.

  • Won the first prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology Award in 2022. The Jiangsu Science and Technology Award is the highest level award in the field of science and technology in the province. The high value of this award is a "touchstone" for testing the level of scientific and technological development.

  •  Overseas study background: Obtained a master’s and doctoral degree in Electronic Engineering from Stanford University in the United States, and subsequently engaged in postdoctoral research in the fields of new energy and environment.
  •  Persist in independent technological innovation and open up new paths for the development of temperature regulating materials. Has won the Science Exploration Award, Chen Jiageng Young Scientist Award, American Optical Society Young Scientist Award, etc. So far, more than 100 academic papers have been published and over 30 invention patents have been applied for.
  •  Frontier technology research direction: Engaged in long-term research in the field of photothermal regulation based on micro nano structures.

  •  Master of Materials Engineering from Stanford University, under the guidance of Academician Cui Yi; Bachelor of Physics from Nanjing University, under the guidance of Professor Zhu Jia, has published several papers as the first author in journals such as PNAS, and has led and participated in multiple key research and development projects of the US Department of Energy.
  •  MBA from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, majoring in Corporate Finance, Enterprise Management, and Organizational Behavior.
  •  Formerly served as the Secretary to the Chairman of Suning Holdings Group, responsible for the group’s core business and strategic planning.
